Who Are We
We’re Fatima and Molly, and we started Future Geniuses because we believe every child should have the opportunity to explore science, technology, engineering, arts, and maths (STEAM) in a way that’s exciting, hands-on, and engaging. Through our experience working in after-school clubs, tutoring, and children’s education, we’ve seen how much kids thrive when they’re given the freedom to build, experiment, and solve problems in their way. Learning becomes so much more meaningful when it’s interactive and fun.
We wanted to create something different. As university students passionate about education, we built Future Geniuses as a space where children don’t just learn about STEAM – they get involved, try new things, and bring ideas to life. There are no tests and no pressure – just exciting challenges, creative projects, and opportunities to develop real skills. It’s also a space for kids to collaborate, share ideas, and build friendships, making learning a social and enjoyable experience.
Our Vision & Goals
Future Geniuses is more than just an after-school club – we want it to be a place where children feel inspired, capable, and excited to explore new ideas. Whether they’re drawn to technology, love making things, or simply enjoy figuring out how stuff works, our sessions are designed to spark curiosity and build confidence. We want parents to see the impact, too – to watch their children develop new skills, grow in independence, and come home excited to share what they’ve learned.
Parent and guardian communication is important to us, and we want families to feel involved in their child’s learning. Every child will have a personal folder where parents can track what their child has been working on each session. We also run a WhatsApp community where we share updates, session summaries, and photos so parents/guardians can see the fun and progress firsthand.
We’re only just getting started, but our ambition is to expand Future Geniuses to more locations, offer more sessions, and welcome even more families into a space where learning feels like an adventure. We’re passionate about what we do, and we’re excited to see where this journey takes us! 🚀
How To Book
Our sessions are £10 per child, per session, with no need to commit to a full term – just book the sessions that work for you. We use a simple pay-as-you-go system, so parents and guardians can book and pay online in advance to secure a spot.
Spaces are limited, so we recommend booking ahead. If a session is full, you can join the waiting list, and we’ll let you know if a place becomes available. If you have any questions, just get in touch; we’re happy to help!
Science
Science is about asking questions, making discoveries, and understanding how things work. At Future Geniuses, we bring science to life through hands-on experiments that kids can see, touch, and explore for themselves. Instead of memorising facts, they’ll be launching rockets, making slime, and investigating exciting reactions.
Through fun, practical activities, children develop problem-solving skills, curiosity, and a love for discovery. Whether they’re exploring forces by building balloon-powered cars or experimenting with the science of colour, every session helps them see how science connects to the real world.
Technology
Technology is a huge part of our world, and at Future Geniuses, we show kids how to use it to create, design, and problem-solve. Our coding sessions focus on making games, programming simple animations, and controlling robots, helping kids understand how technology works in a fun and engaging way.
Rather than just playing games, they get to build their learning on how to bring characters to life, add challenges, and design interactive stories. Along the way, they also learn the basics of digital safety, helping them use technology responsibly. These sessions develop logical thinking, creativity, and digital skills that will be valuable no matter what career path they choose in the future.
Engineering
Engineering is all about figuring things out – how things are built, how they work, and how they can be made even better. At Future Genius, we challenge kids to think like engineers by designing and testing their creations. Whether they’re constructing the strongest bridge, building a roller-coaster track, or creating a contraption to protect an egg from a high drop, every activity encourages problem-solving, resilience, and teamwork.
Through trial and error, kids learn that failing isn’t bad – it’s part of the process. They’ll test, improve, and redesign their projects, developing the kind of persistence and creative thinking that real engineers use daily.
Art
Art is a crucial part of STEAM because creativity drives innovation. Our arts activities encourage kids to think outside the box and bring their ideas to life in exciting and unexpected ways. From designing stop-motion animations to creating glowing artwork with circuits, we blend creativity with technology and problem-solving.
These sessions help children develop storytelling skills, express their ideas visually, and explore the connections between art and science. Whether they’re building 3D models, designing futuristic inventions, or exploring digital art, they’ll be encouraged to experiment and create without limits.
Maths
Maths is everywhere, and at Future Geniuses, we show kids how it can be exciting, engaging, and practical. Instead of worksheets and memorisation, we use puzzles, games, and real-world challenges to make maths hands-on and fun.
Kids might crack secret codes, use maths to escape from a themed challenge, or build patterns and structures that test their problem-solving skills. By making maths interactive, we help children see how useful it is in everyday life – whether it’s in technology, engineering, or even art.
